You can't keep a good trackman down!

That's  Pauanui to Tairua Trail worker  Fred Crawford  trimming back a tree on a track in Brittany.

Fred's wife Shirley says she and Fred were riding the Nantes Brest Canal track in France when they came across a tree branch across the track.

"Fred had to make time and clear it up," she said.

Our Trail Boss Gary Fowler said that's just typical of Fred.
