Trust Waikato contributes

Trust Waikato will contribute $17,000  to the Pauanui-Tairua Trail project.

Hikuai District Trust Chairman Gary Fowler said he received advice of the contribution on Friday, May 9.

"This is a wonderful gesture for which we are most appreciative," Mr Fowler said.

The Hikuai District Trust is the organisation in charge of building the trail.

Mr Fowler and his team are currently waiting for resource consent from the Waikato Regional Council.
